    8th Grade Career Expo

CMS 8th grade class will attend the Career Expo on November 7th.

The 2017 Career & Post-Secondary Expo highlighted close to 160 post-secondary opportunities from two year college degrees associated with specific careers, four year college degrees, industry certifications, apprenticeships, military opportunities, and business partners.

The Expo is a great opportunity for students, parents, and interested community members to explore a wide variety of options for college, career, and other post-secondary opportunities.

For middle and high school students, the Expo is the perfect place to see the many different choices available to them following high school and talk with businesses, college representatives, and military recruiters. Students can use the Expo to increase their awareness and knowledge about their career options.

For K-12 educators, the Expo is a chance to experience the different choices available to students following high school and can help schools assist their students in the development of Individual Plans of Study.
