Picture Re-Takes

Picture Re-Take Day will be Tuesday, October 17th. If a student did not get his/her picture taken on the original day in September, or if you are not satisfied with that picture, please come prepared to take one tomorrow!!

 

 

Notes from the Health Office

Notes from the CMS Health Office:  

 

Vision (7th) and Hearing (8th) screenings are happening now!  If a student requires a referral, a letter will be sent home - US Mail.

 

Harvey Co. Health Dept. will be at CMS for the Flu Shot Clinic on Monday, October 23rd from 8:30-9:30 AM.  Forms can be printed from the district website or picked up from the school office.

 

Also, Health Ministries will be at CMS in November for dental screenings for all students!  7th grade - Thursday, November 2nd in the AM and 8th grade - Thursday, November 9th in the AM. Permission forms will be sent home with students for fluoride and sealant treatments.

Parent / Teacher Conferences

This fall's conferences will be held on October 16, 17, and 19 from 4:00-7:00 PM each evening. Your student's advisory teacher will be contacting you to schedule a 20 minute time slot. Students will be leading their conferences this time! 

 

Also, PTO is providing meals for the staff each night. Please consider signing up to bring something to contribute. Thank you!

Reminder

Connections and Railer Power Hour (tutoring) have begun! This is a reminder that these activities run every M-Thurs. from 3:20-5:00 PM. All activities are free, students will receive a snack, and there is bussing available to any student who stays until 5:00 PM. The bus will drop the student off at the closest elementary school to his/her home.
