Attention Summer Athletes

Summer Athletes - Physical packets are due on the last day of school and are required for ALL school related summer athletic activities including weights & conditioning, coach sponsored camps, and individual sports. Physical packets and Strength & Conditioning forms will be available for you to pick up on Monday.

All-District Band Concert


WHO: All Newton band students in grades 5 through 12 

WHEN: Sunday, May 7, at 5:00 p.m. Meet at 4:30 p.m.; done by 6:45 p.m. 
Program order: 5th grade, 6th grade, 7th grade, 8th grade, NHS Concert Band, NHS Wind Ensemble, Grand Finale 

WHERE: Band Shell at Athletic Park (1st & Grandview) 
In the event of inclement weather, this program will be canceled. After 2:00 p.m. you can check the status of the concert on Facebook ( 

WHAT TO WEAR: Nice school clothes appropriate for the weather. Sunglasses are allowed, but no hats please. 

WHAT TO BRING: Instrument & music 

Admission is FREE. Concessions and restroom facilities will be available. 
Family and friends should bring their own seating (folding chairs or blankets).

After School Activities

RAILER POWER HOUR tutoring is held in the library Monday - Thursday from 3:20-5:00 PM. There is bussing available for students who stay until 5:00 PM.


CONNECTIONS is held Monday - Thursday from 3:20-5:00 PM. There is also bussing available.
