Wrestling Parent Meeting

The Chisholm wrestling pre-season parent meeting is being held Thursday night, November 16th at 6 PM in the CMS cafeteria.  Schedules, rules, and general information will be given to parents at this time.  If you have questions or concerns please contact Chisholm Head Wrestling Coach John Werner or Chisholm Athletic Director Ben O'Dell at the school.

Fundraiser items will be available for pick up on Wednesday, November 15 at 3:10pm-6:15pm.  For pick up, USE THE NORTH ENTRANCE by the gyms.  Please have a parent or student pick up the items this day.  Thank you!

Pioneer Honor Band 2017

Eleven band students from Chisholm Middle School were selected to participate in the 2017 Pioneer League North Division Honors Band. This event was held at McPherson High School on November 11, and included students from CMS, Hutchinson, McPherson, Prairie Hills, Salina Lakewood, and Salina South. The guest conductor was Professor Kyle Hopkins from McPherson College. Representing CMS were Alex Barnett (trumpet), Kaden Anderson (percussion), Santiago Castillo (trumpet), Olivia Sandoval (flute), Lilly Senn (clarinet), Taylor Redington (horn), Kathryn Burton (tenor saxophone), Seth Bruey (clarinet), Katelin Koehn (flute), Madelynn Hamm (trombone), and Lauren Anton (alto saxophone). Lilly, Madelynn, and Lauren also participated in the SCKMEA Middle School Honor Band in Andover on November 4. Their conductor was Dr. Timothy Shade from Wichita State University.

Connections and Railer Power Hour (tutoring) have begun! This is a reminder that these activities run every M-Thurs. from 3:20-5:00 PM. All activities are free, students will receive a snack, and there is bussing available to any student who stays until 5:00 PM. The bus will drop the student off at the closest elementary school to his/her home.
